RIDUZIONE DEL PESO Il risparmio di peso rispetto ad un cerchio
originale in acciaio PX è di 600 grammi. Inoltre c'è un risparmio di
peso di circa 370 grammi grazie al tubo non più necessario. Le masse non
sospese vengono così ridotte di quasi un chilogrammo per asse (oltre il
64%). Il comportamento di risposta del telaio migliora notevolmente.
SICUREZZA
A causa di un doppio cosiddetto "gobbo" nel pozzetto del cerchio, il
pneumatico viene sempre guidato in modo sicuro nel cerchio. Analogamente
alla più recente tecnologia runflat nel settore automobilistico, se un
oggetto estraneo (chiodo o simili) viene spinto nel cerchio, l'aria può
fuoriuscire lentamente senza che il pneumatico scivoli nel pozzetto del
cerchio. Il veicolo si ferma in modo controllato. Il cerchio ha delle
rientranze tra i punti da avvitare. Il raffreddamento del freno è
migliorato.
CARATTERISTICHE SPECIALI L'offset del binario è di 2,5 millimetri sul lato sinistro. Il montaggio dei cerchioni in alluminio su entrambi gli assi equalizza l'offset del binario. Questo non si nota durante la guida. Il cerchio non ha un marchio di prova e non è legale per la strada.
Solo per pneumatici tubeless (TL). Non montare pneumatici tubolari (TT).
La fornitura comprende sei dadi alti chiusi (cromati, SW12) e una valvola
metallica avvitata (M8x1,25mm). Peso del cerchio 900 grammi.
