WIDE FRAME ENGINE ISSUE: The BGM Pro and Corteco oil seals, which are of much higher quality, are available (for safety reasons) only with a 0.8 mm sheet metal coating. If they are installed in a wide frame engine, the crankshaft bearings deform, causing damage to the bearings.

WIDE FRAME ENGINE SOLUTIONS: The circumferential bead of the oil seal is flattened, reducing the height of the oil seal plate by about 0.3 mm. The bearings then run freely. b) The BGM Pro bearing set with special FAG 9-ball bearings.
