Terms and Conditions
RDV Scootershop, located at Via G.Querzoli, 2/i – 47121 Forlì, registered with the Forlì-Cesena Business Register (n. MZZMRC79D24D705J) – VAT number 03837380405, is the owner of the website www.ricambi-vespa.it, known as the "RDV Scootershop" e-Shop.
Acceptance of the general terms and conditions of sale
1. The contract concluded between RDV Scootershop and the Customer is considered finalized upon acceptance of the order by RDV Scootershop. This acceptance is deemed tacit, unless otherwise communicated in any form to the Customer. By placing an order, the Customer declares that they have read all the information provided during the purchasing process and fully accepts the general terms and payment conditions described below.
2. If the Customer is a consumer (i.e., a natural person purchasing goods for purposes not related to their professional activity), upon completion of the online purchase process, they must print or save an electronic copy and keep these general terms and conditions of sale, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 3 and 4 of Legislative Decree 185/1999 on distance contracts.
3. The Customer is excluded from any right to compensation or indemnity, as well as any contractual or extracontractual liability for direct or indirect damage to persons and/or property caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order.
Purchase methods
4. The Customer may purchase only the products listed by RDV Scootershop in the electronic catalog for online purchases at the time the order is placed and as described in the relevant product information sheets. It is understood that the photographic image accompanying the product description may not perfectly represent its characteristics but may differ in color and size. All information supporting the purchase (glossary, recommended uses, etc.) is to be considered general informational material, not necessarily referring to the actual characteristics of a single product.
5. The correct receipt of the order is confirmed by RDV Scootershop through an email sent to the email address provided by the Customer during the order submission process. This confirmation communication will include the date and time of the order execution, along with an "order number" to be used as a reference for any further communication with RDV Scootershop regarding the order. The confirmation will contain all the details entered by the Customer, who agrees to verify their accuracy and promptly report any corrections, as described in this document.
6. In the event of non-acceptance of the order by RDV Scootershop, the Customer will be promptly notified.
Payment methods
7. Payment can be made by cash on delivery, advance bank transfer, PayPal, or Scalapay. In the case of cash on delivery, the exact amount must be paid exclusively in cash to the courier who will make the delivery (bank or postal checks will not be accepted, and no change will be given). The designated courier is SDA – Poste Italiane. No additional amounts will be due from the Customer beyond the total order amount. If purchasing with Scalapay, you will receive your order immediately and pay in 3 installments. Please note that the installments will be assigned to Incremento SPV S.r.l., related entities, and their assignees, and you authorize such assignment.
Transaction security
On the "RDV Scootershop" e-Shop, you can purchase with complete security, using payment systems secured by the highest technological standards to ensure the full confidentiality of your personal data.
RDV Scootershop does not have access to sensitive data used by customers to carry out online transactions on the "RDV Scootershop" e-Shop site.
Delivery methods and costs
8. RDV Scootershop accepts orders for delivery worldwide.
9. For each order, RDV Scootershop issues an invoice or receipt for the purchased goods, sending it via email to the order holder, in accordance with Article 14 of D.P.R. 445/2000 and D.L. 52/2004. The information provided by the Customer at the time of placing the order is used for the issuance of the invoice. No changes to the invoice data will be possible once the invoice has been issued.
10. Delivery charges are the responsibility of the Customer, unless otherwise specified, and are clearly stated during the order submission process. The Customer owes nothing beyond the total order amount.
11. RDV Scootershop cannot be held responsible for any delays in processing the order or delivering the items ordered.
12. Upon delivery of the goods by the courier, the Customer must check that the number of packages matches what is indicated on the delivery note; that the packaging is externally intact, undamaged, and unaltered, including closure materials (e.g., adhesive tape). Any damage to the packaging and/or product, or discrepancies in the number of packages or information, must be immediately contested by marking a written reservation on the courier's delivery proof. Once the courier's delivery document has been signed, the Customer may not dispute any external characteristics of the delivered goods. Any issues concerning the physical integrity, correspondence, or completeness of the received products must be reported within 7 days from the delivery date, following the procedures described in this document.
13. If the goods are not collected within 5 business days from the date they are held at the courier's warehouse due to repeated delivery failure to the address provided by the Customer when placing the order, the order will be automatically canceled.
Right of withdrawal
14. Pursuant to Article 5 of D.L. 185/1999, if the customer is a consumer (i.e., a natural person purchasing goods for purposes not related to their professional activity, or not making the purchase indicating a VAT reference in the order form to RDV Scootershop), they have the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without providing an explanation and without penalty, subject to the provisions in point 16.
15. To exercise this right, the customer must send RDV Scootershop a communication within 10 working days from the date of receipt of the goods. This communication must be sent by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt, addressed to:

or via telegram or fax, always within the aforementioned 10-day period, followed by a confirmation letter sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, no later than 48 hours after the telegram or fax. Upon receipt of the withdrawal notice, RDV Scootershop will promptly provide the Customer with instructions on how to return the goods, which must be returned to RDV Scootershop within 10 days from the authorization.
16. The right of withdrawal is subject to the following conditions:
- The right applies to the product purchased in its entirety; it is not possible to exercise withdrawal only on part of the purchased product (e.g., accessories, etc.);
- The purchased goods must be intact and returned in the original packaging, complete with all parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories);
- As per law, the return shipping costs are borne by the Customer;
The shipment, until receipt confirmation in our warehouse, is under the full responsibility of the Customer; if the product is damaged during transport, RDV Scootershop will inform the Customer of the event (within 5 business days from receiving the product in its warehouse) to allow them to file a timely report with the courier they chose and obtain reimbursement for the product's value (if insured); in this case, the product will be made available for return, simultaneously canceling the withdrawal request;
RDV Scootershop is not responsible for any damage, theft, or loss of goods returned via uninsured shipments; upon arrival in the warehouse, the product will be inspected for any damages or tampering not related to transportation. If the packaging and/or original packaging is damaged, RDV Scootershop will retain a percentage of the refund due, not exceeding 10%, as a contribution toward restoration costs.
17. Subject to any restoration costs for verified damage to the original packaging, RDV Scootershop will refund the Customer the full amount paid, within 14 days from the return of the goods, via reimbursement of the amount paid. In this case, the Customer must promptly provide the necessary bank details for the reimbursement (IBAN of the bank account of the invoice holder).
18. The right of withdrawal will be completely voided if the essential condition of the integrity of the goods (packaging and/or its contents) is missing in the following cases:
- The absence of the original external packaging and/or internal packaging;
- The absence of integral elements of the product (accessories, manuals, components, etc.);
- The product has been damaged for reasons other than transportation.
If the right of withdrawal expires, RDV Scootershop will return the purchased goods to the sender, charging them with the shipping costs.
Warranties
19. Pursuant to Articles 128 and following of Legislative Decree No. 206 of September 6, 2005, the warranty reserved exclusively for private consumers is 24 months, while for purchases made by professionals holding a VAT number, the Civil Code provisions apply, and the warranty is valid for 12 months.
The warranty applies to products that present a conformity defect, provided that the product itself has been used correctly, in accordance with its intended use and the technical documentation attached. Parts subject to wear are excluded from the warranty.
The warranty is void if the products have been tampered with, disassembled, or adapted for uses not conforming to the product's characteristics or the parameters established by the Manufacturer. If assistance under warranty is requested but the product does not have its original integrity, RDV Scootershop reserves the right to analyze the product before proceeding with its replacement or repair.
Replacements for products that do not work upon delivery will only occur if expressly provided by the manufacturer. The time for replacement or possible repair depends solely on the manufacturer's policies. RDV Scootershop cannot be held responsible for any delays in making repairs or replacements.
To receive assistance for a specific product, you must log in with your credentials to the Registered Customers area on the website www.ricambi-vespa.it and go to the Assistance section. From there, you can select the desired item to submit a support request and contact RDV Scootershop's staff. Any delivery of goods not pre-authorized will be strictly rejected.
If applying warranty conditions requires returning the product, the goods must be returned by the Customer in the original packaging, complete with all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories: manuals, accessories, etc.); to avoid damage to the original packaging, we recommend, when possible, placing it in a second box; in all cases, labels or adhesive tape should not be placed directly on the original packaging of the product. The absence of the original accessories will result in the incompleteness of the product and therefore will not allow for a product exchange or repair.
In the case of a conformity defect, RDV Scootershop will restore the conformity of the product through repair or replacement, or reduce the price, up to the resolution of the contract, without cost to the Customer. If, after intervention by an Authorized Service Center, the defect does not appear to be a conformity defect under D.L. 24/02, the Customer will be charged any verification and restoration costs requested by the Service Center, as well as transport costs if borne by RDV Scootershop.
If, for any reason, RDV Scootershop is unable to provide the Customer with a repaired or replaced product under warranty, RDV Scootershop, at its sole discretion, may offer the Customer a refund of the full amount paid or a replacement with a product of equal or superior characteristics.
Claims
20. Any claims should be directed to RDV Scootershop - Via G.Querzoli, 2/i - 47121 Forlì (FC).
Applicable law
21. The sales contract between the Customer and RDV Scootershop is considered concluded in Italy and governed by Italian Law. In the case of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance sales contract, if the Customer is a consumer (a natural person purchasing goods for purposes not related to their professional activity or who makes the purchase without indicating a VAT number in the order), the territorial jurisdiction is that of the Court of the place where the Customer resides or has elected domicile, as provided by Article 63 of Legislative Decree 206/2005. For all other cases, the competent Court will be that of Forlì.
