->6 large springs: for touring engines 10/12 hp: using 6 springs makes the clutch lever operation more comfortable
->12 springs: for engines up to 25 hp: using 12 springs ensures slip resistance
->18 springs: for engines over 30 hp: adding 6 small springs (CIF ART. 5569-MF) inside the 6 large ones.
NB: with the use of 18 springs, it is suggested to use a clutch cover with a rack-and-pinion clutch release to make the clutch softer)

The power developed by an engine, whether standard or modified, will be pointless if it is not transmitted to the wheels in the most efficient and effective way, without unnecessary friction and waste of mechanical energy.
Malossi, a leader in the production of high-performance components for the scooter world, has concentrated all its know-how by completely redesigning the primary transmission for the classic Vespa “small frame” to ensure that the maximum power is transformed into road performance.
The new Malossi primary transmission for the Vespa is a true engineering marvel. From the highest quality materials to the attention to detail and the quality of mechanical processes, everything is brought to a very high level. From the bronze bushing to the clutch basket and gears, everything is machined separately to ensure that each individual component is produced to the highest quality standard.
The core of the innovations introduced in this transmission is the new clutch bell, made from special steel and characterized by six slots for the clutch discs, all six "active" and aimed at locking the discs. In this way, all mechanical play is minimized, as are vibrations and the consequent wear of the basket itself and the disc guide teeth.

High-quality silent rubber set for Vespa Smallframe engine casings by Fabbri Racing Italia. The metal parts are made of stainless steel AISI 303. This keeps them permanently beautiful and functional. The large parts for the crossbar have an internal thread. This makes installation a breeze and the silent rubbers are securely held in place via the screw connection. The solvent-resistant anti-vibration rubbers have 60 shore (hardness).

Great upgrade kit for the primary transmission ratio of all PV125, ET3, PK80-125 S/XL/XL2 engines (also usable in 50cc engines if a primary transmission ratio with shock absorbers/spring buffers is installed).

Suitable for 4-disc clutches
The set massively reinforces the primary transmission and makes it durable even for powerful engines. The CNC milled cover plate effectively prevents the breakthrough of the thin standard plates and thus keeps the shock absorber springs in position. The reinforced clutch basket offers total safety thanks to the high-strength material used, even on extremely powerful and high-torque engines. A recess in the basket allows the clutch pinion to be replaced without disassembling the entire primary.

Fabbri Racing FB 24 Evo is a new development based on the well-known Vespa PK XL2 clutch. It combines the ease of use of the XL2 clutch with the durability of much more expensive designs. For this purpose, the Fabbri FB24 Evo has 15 springs (5 external and 10 internal). The reinforced inner basket is made of high-strength material. The clutch is supplied ready for installation and can safely transmit up to 30 HP of power on the road with the springs installed.
The clutch uses XL2 carbon pads with 4 discs and fits any conventional and reinforced clutch basket.

These springs act as dampers in the primary transmission. They are used to protect the gearbox even with very high torque engines. The stronger springs maintain a residual stroke even under heavy loads compared to standard springs. Load peaks are thus absorbed and not transmitted to the gearbox. Despite the harder springs, the gearbox is effectively protected, and the gearbox and all other transmission components will thank you with a long service life.
