The shape of the base ports is deliberately conservative to allow for plug&play installation on casings without modifications to the base, the base ports can be widened to achieve greater passage and more performance.
The cylinder boasts an innovative exhaust design, the result of extensive research and testing conducted by the VMC team. This particular configuration optimizes the torque curve, ensuring smooth and powerful acceleration for an exciting riding experience. To preserve these high-level performances, it is strongly ADVISED against modifying the exhaust shape.

The exhaust has been designed and developed to be super performing while maintaining a classic and original look and sound.
It is entirely built from stamped steel sheets and assembled by craftsmen welders with decades of experience in making 2T exhausts.
The VMC SILURO "TOURING" version has a 28mm diameter exhaust flange and slotted mounting holes that adapt to cylinders with stud spacing of 52, 56, and 60mm. The final db killer has a smaller diameter than the one mounted on the Sport, specifically designed for the Touring model, but interchangeable with the Sport model if you want to improve performance.
It fits very well on cylinders with a 27/28mm exhaust hole like the new Vmc CP-58, the classic original 125, the 130 Polini in cast iron, Malossi, Quattrini M1, Dr, Pinasco and also on short-stroke cylinders like the Vmc T-56 106cc or the VMC 100 RVA reed valve to the cylinder or the various Polini Malossi 105cc / 115cc

VMC has developed a superior class cylinder with this lamellar to the RV-A 100 cylinder.
The technical solutions on this cylinder allow performances that were previously reserved for long-stroke cylinders.
The cylinder is made of aluminum with a Nikasil coated barrel and lamellar intake.
The head is CNC machined, with a viton gasket and secured with eight M6 bolts.
It has a bore of 54 mm and a stroke of 43 mm, 8 transfers
Exhaust port with bridge with an outlet diameter of 28 mm and stud spacing of 52 mm
Phases 113° intake and 171° for the exhaust
The manifold has an internal diameter of 25 mm and is equipped with a four-petal reed pack.
Included in the kit are the original valve closure cap screw kit and gasket kit in paper of different thicknesses.

The Vespa Smallframe VMC X1 Casings are made of aluminum alloy, cast in sand molds and CNC machined in Italy, and checked for dimensions with high precision instruments.
Compared to Piaggio casings and semi-standard aftermarket versions, VMC casings feature technical improvements that position them at a higher level and make them the essential base for those who want a safe product made by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
The VMC X1 engine casings have the following technical features:
