the first, at the end of the central tunnel and the second to the shock absorber.

The power developed by an engine, whether standard or modified, will be pointless if it is not transmitted to the wheels in the most efficient and effective way, without unnecessary friction and waste of mechanical energy.
Malossi, a leader in the production of high-performance components for the scooter world, has focused all its know-how by completely redesigning the primary transmission for the classic Vespa "small frame" to ensure that the maximum power is transformed into road performance.
The new Malossi primary transmission for the Vespa is a true concentration of engineering. From the highest quality materials to the attention to detail and the quality of mechanical processes, everything is brought to a very high level. From the bronze bushing to the clutch basket and gears, everything is worked separately to ensure that each individual component is produced according to the highest quality standard.
The core of the innovations introduced in this transmission is the new clutch bell, made from special solid steel and characterized by six slots for the clutch discs, all six "active" and designed to lock the discs. In this way, all mechanical play is minimized, as are vibrations and the consequent wear of the basket itself and the guide teeth of the discs.

The new Malossi primary transmission for the Vespa is a true concentration of engineering. From the highest quality materials to the attention to detail and the quality of the mechanical processes, everything is brought to a very high level. From the bronze bushing, to the clutch basket and the gears, everything is processed separately to ensure that each single component is produced according to the highest quality standard.
The heart of the innovations introduced in this transmission is the new clutch bell, made from special solid steel, characterized by six slots for the clutch discs, all six "active" and aimed at locking the discs. In this way, all mechanical play is reduced to a minimum, as well as vibrations and the consequent wear of the basket itself and the guide teeth of the discs.
