These washers are fully compressed at 2 kgm (20 N/m)
(tightening of Vespa studs) which usually falls within the
Piaggio guidelines between 1.7 and 2.2 Kgm
and compensates for the loosening of the studs subjected to heating and elongation.

N.B. 32mm actual internal from the exhaust flange then increasing up to the socket!!
Technical features:
Socket made on a lathe from solid material with double attachment ring (see photo) to ensure absolute precision of insertion and better gas sealing compared to the original.
Exhaust flange with a 32mm internal hole perfectly matched, laser cut in 6mm thickness, stable and rectified after welding to have a flat surface with maximum sealing.
Given the generous diameter of the collector and the tight curvature radius, the remaining space for fixing the internal screw of the exhaust flange is very limited.
MD racing provides a stud with an internal hex key to be tightened correctly and a special nut with an 11mm hex instead of 13.
Ensure before assembly that the stud, once inserted into the cylinder and tightened, does not hit the internal curve of the collector, otherwise shorten it using an angle grinder.

The BGM BigBox Sport V2 is a purebred racing exhaust for Vespa, in the unsuspecting design of an original exhaust. It stands as a clear alternative to large and flashy resonance exhaust systems. The high level of performance clearly distinguishes the BBS2 from other exhaust systems. Designed for performance-oriented drivers who appreciate the benefits of a low-profile vehicle.
NEW BBS V2
The basic concept has been maintained and only adapted to the greater requirements due to the increased power and engine displacement. The BGM BBS2 (=Big Box Sport V2) has widened pipe sections both inside the box and in the exhaust area. This effectively prevents the power fade that often occurs with very powerful engines (over 30 HP).
Additionally, the often-criticized ground clearance of the manifold has been modified. The system is now fully suitable for daily use and has the same ground clearance as a comparable resonance exhaust. Like the Big Box Touring V2, the BBS2 is now also equipped with a connection between the manifold and the exhaust body.
