Carter for Vespa Special, Et3, and PK entirely cast and machined in Italy.
They are reinforced in thickness in every part, made in shell with tempered Galsi9 material and assembled with 13 hexagon socket screws of 6mm.
On the flywheel side, they are machined to also accommodate the Vespatronik ignition and on the top side, they are prepared for the installation of exhausts that run behind the shock absorber (such as M3XC, Tipo R, or
similar).
Originally closed by casting, it will only need to be opened to mount cylinders without intake.
The support arm is much more robust than the original, shaped in
a way that allows the use of a 3.50/10 tire.
Equipped with a support for the water pump that takes movement from the
fourth gear (third gear).
The wide and thick base is made to accommodate various types of cylinders
of the M, R series, or other brands, without welding overlays.
Inside, the pump housing is machined for the installation of its dedicated full-shoulder shaft, with

The evolution of modifications in the Vespa world is constantly evolving, and VMC has also decided to create specific casings for Vespa small frame that can accommodate the most powerful thermal kits and larger displacements available on the market. VMC has designed and manufactured casings capable of meeting these needs and has given life to the VMC X1 Casings
The Vespa Smallframe VMC X1 Casings are made of aluminum alloy, cast in sand molds and CNC machined in Italy, and checked for dimensions with high precision instruments.
Compared to Piaggio casings and semi-standard aftermarket versions, VMC casings feature technical improvements that position them at a higher level and make them the essential base for those who want a safe product made by enthusiasts for enthusiasts.
The VMC X1 engine casings have the following technical features:
- innovative fastening system for removable gear wire rods, which, combined with our external rod gear sheaths, speeds up engine change and gear cable tension adjustment
- increased wall thickness for greater resistance to mechanical stress
- a very wide cylinder support base
