New 8-spring solution for Vespa Wideframe and Largeframe.
The clutch has been designed and studied for those extreme uses where heat and poor lubrication dominate. Thanks to the use of discs with particular characteristics and used on Vespa Smallframe, the clutch has a
new geometry. In fact, both the basket and the drive disc have been
designed to be assembled with Smallframe discs. Also, the thrust washer and the bushing where the primary gear pinion slides have been
carefully crafted in terms of coupling tolerances and material quality. A particular geometry of the basket and the locking ring makes it reliable in its extreme operation.
The clutch is machined from solid with CNC processing, made of high-performance material that undergoes a bluing treatment at the end of the process.
It comes with 8 springs, 8 cups, 4 discs, and 3 intermediate discs. The
fact of having 8 springs allows for the use of different types of
springs (different hardnesses depending on the engine's power) and always
ensures an evenly distributed load. Working on a very large diameter
