The clutch is a very important component of the engine, as it transfers power to the wheel ensuring optimal grip thanks to the springs that provide resistance. There are several factors that determine its duration and quality. First of all, the friction material (cork or sintered material), and the right choice of springs. If the clutch slips, the cork discs might be worn out, or you might be using oil that is too fluid, or even worse, the springs are too light for the power output. Conversely, you might have a clutch that doesn't disengage due to oil that is too thick. On the portal, you will find clutches and discs from the best brands such as NEWFREN, FERODO, ATHENA, FABBRI, CRIMAZ, SURFLEX. RDV TIP: Use a Sae30 mineral oil for your original engine, and 80-90 oil for modified engines, ensuring greater durability and performance for the clutch and consequently the engine.
