The shock absorber kit is contained within the multi-gear, essentially absorbing the continuous jolts due to gear changes and related traction. It has been present since the 1950s, although it has changed various aspects, starting with the springs that, in the PX versions, were mounted one inside the other for greater strength. It is advisable to check this component as the breakage of the springs could lead to bulging of the plates until they protrude into the gears, causing significant damage.
