Since its introduction in 2010, the SIP Rev Counter has revolutionized the classic scooter speedometer market. Features that previously required the addition of supplementary instrumentation have now been integrated into its design with maximum subtlety. Several years and countless customer requests have culminated in us teaming up again with the people at KOSO to develop an upgrade for our first-generation SIP Rev Counter that we can truly be proud of: The SIP Rev Counter / Speedometer 2.0! Its external appearance remains strikingly similar to that of the original item, and its additional functions are practically invisible when not in use. The speedometer face design is essentially identical to that of the original Italian with kilometer scale with the overall dimensions of the machine. Installation couldn't be simpler and doesn't require any special knowledge. You can measure speed with the conventional speedometer cable and drive together or alternatively with the insertion of the, available separately, electronic wheel speed sensor kit. The speedometer function can no longer be interrupted due to lack of speedometer worm drives or cables and its accuracy is also improved. The rpm value is determined via its connection to the light signal provided by the wiring. All data recorded by the device is saved for future reference by an internal storage facility.
