The clutch is a very important engine component, as it transfers power to the wheel ensuring optimal grip thanks to the springs that provide resistance. There are several factors that determine its durability and quality. First of all, the friction material (cork or sintered material) and the right choice of springs. If the clutch slips, the cork discs may be worn out, or you might be using oil that is too thin, or even worse, the springs may be too light for the power output; conversely, you might have a clutch that doesn't disengage due to oil that is too thick.
