The gear selector is a high-wear component, continuously subjected to stress as it "drags" the selected gear in motion and then shifts from one gear to another, undergoing pressure once again. After many kilometers, it's possible that under stress a gear might slip out, creating that annoying slippage; this is due to the selector rounding off and wearing down, reducing its gripping surface. It's better to replace it immediately to avoid greater damage (gear deterioration). Install high-quality selectors from Piaggio, Fa Italia, CIF, Crimaz, Fabbri, FAIO, all available on our portal. RDV TIP: When opening the engine, check ALL the parts subject to wear such as oil seals, O-rings, clutch discs, and crankshaft, to perform the job only once!!
