Right side hood of the Vespa
RIGHT HOOD:
Located on the rear side of the vehicle, the right hood is particularly functional for covering the engine as it allows for observing and accessing its maintenance.
From the 1950s to today, it was customary to create a sequence of slots for engine cooling, subsequently applying decorative trims on the more luxurious models.
This hood model is therefore used as a "casing," ensuring an elegant and refined profile to the Vespa while simultaneously obscuring the internal parts.
