After the success of the first aluminum thermal unit for Vespa "Farobasso", Pinasco continued development in this field and is now pleased to present the new 160cc thermal unit for Vespa "Farobasso" / 5% cylinder reed valve. Perfectly
interchangeable with the original thermal unit, it keeps the aesthetics unchanged and substantially increases the vehicle's performance. Thanks to the reed valve intake, the "rejection" problems of classic "Piston Port" are eliminated, making the engine even more fun and enjoyable to ride. The power and torque increase
even further compared to the previous cylinder while maintaining reliability. The Pinasco 160cc Reed Valve thermal unit brings all Vespa 5% into modernity while retaining all the original components.
Attention: when using VM / VN / ACMA engine cases, the piston skirt must be shortened by approx. 3-4mm.

and requires boring the casing inlet to 76mm for 8mm
depth.
To perform this operation manually, a steel base/guide is provided to screw onto the casings

New version of the thermal group for Vespa ET3, Primavera, Special, PK,
crankcase intake. It has a larger exhaust (muffler fixing hole spacing
of 56mm), an interior with new transfer ports,
resized shell, and an enlarged base. It consists of an
aluminum cylinder (Nikasil, 60mm bore, 51mm stroke, 150cc,
exhaust booster, 5 transfer ports), interlocking aluminum head,
lightened piston (single ring), gaskets, assembly instructions.
It can be mounted without boring the crankcase.

The BGM 200cc cylinder is an improved version of the already reliable and powerful original cylinder. Suitable for 200cc engines of the Rally200, PX200, Cosa200, and the Spanish models DS/DN/TX/Iris, the BGM cylinder offers an additional advantage in terms of safety and performance thanks to an exact honing of 9/100 operating distance and slightly larger transfer ports. This makes it slightly more powerful and more fuel-efficient compared to the original.
The original head can be used, ready for installation with pistons, clips, piston pins, and base gasket.
