After the success of the first aluminum thermal unit for Vespa "Farobasso", Pinasco continued development in this field and is now pleased to present the new 160cc thermal unit for Vespa "Farobasso" / 5% cylinder reed valve. Perfectly
interchangeable with the original thermal unit, it keeps the aesthetics unchanged and substantially increases the vehicle's performance. Thanks to the reed valve intake, the "rejection" problems of classic "Piston Port" are eliminated, making the engine even more fun and enjoyable to ride. The power and torque increase
even further compared to the previous cylinder while maintaining reliability. The Pinasco 160cc Reed Valve thermal unit brings all Vespa 5% into modernity while retaining all the original components.
Attention: when using VM / VN / ACMA engine cases, the piston skirt must be shortened by approx. 3-4mm.
