On RDV you will find two types of batteries for Vespa:

Gel batteries: They contain a gelled electrolyte, making them safer and more resistant to leaks. This design allows the battery to be used in different positions without the risk of acid spillage, more resistant to wear and vibrations.

Acid batteries: They contain a liquid electrolyte (sulfuric acid). These batteries can be prone to leaks if not handled properly. Generally less expensive, they tend to deteriorate more quickly and do not support deep discharges well.
