From the 1950s to today, it was customary to practice a sequence of slots for engine cooling, subsequently applying decorative emblems on the more luxurious models.
Some models also feature indicator lights, designed to comply with regulations in the 80s.

Check the wear of the rubber profiles! They often get damaged and it's better to replace them.
