The V-One is designed for those who want a perfectly replaceable casing to the original, supplied with all the necessary components for assembly and allowing maximum interchangeability with components available on the market, requiring no aesthetic modification of the vehicle and fitting all original Piaggio parts.
The crankcase seats are designed to accept the original crank bearings and seals (not supplied). V-One can be mounted with the original Dell’Orto Si 24-24 carburetor.
It is possible to use the original crankshaft or our rotary valve crankshaft with a 57mm stroke art. 5316082. Whatever the choice, the intake has been revised and implemented thanks to our modern
CAD systems that have profiled an optimized intake duct in the casing.

The special thing about this ingenious Crazy Monkey Development Snakehead carburetor cap is the extremely flat design thanks to the integrated throttle cable guide. This saves a lot of space under the hood. The throttle cable guide integrated into the snakehead rotating shell is a stroke of genius: it not only saves a lot of space but also works without a stop. This means that the carburetor cover with the throttle cable can be freely rotated 360° and is therefore always optimally positioned.
The modern production in fine technical nylon (PA) makes this noble carburetor cover almost indestructible even in extreme racing use.

Digital ignitions are mainly used on high-end engines. The Polini PVL2020 ignition works up to 20,000 rpm, the rotor weighs only 660 gr which means we will have a much faster and more responsive acceleration reaching the maximum speed in less time... The CDI unit offers the added advantage of variable ignition timing. When the engine speed increases, the timing shifts towards the top dead center, significantly increasing the output.

After the success of the first aluminum thermal unit for Vespa "Farobasso", Pinasco continued development in this field and is now pleased to present the new 160cc thermal unit for Vespa "Farobasso" / 5% cylinder reed valve. Perfectly
interchangeable with the original thermal unit, it keeps the aesthetics unchanged and substantially increases the vehicle's performance. Thanks to the reed valve intake, the "rejection" problems of classic "Piston Port" are eliminated, making the engine even more fun and enjoyable to ride. The power and torque increase
even further compared to the previous cylinder while maintaining reliability. The Pinasco 160cc Reed Valve thermal unit brings all Vespa 5% into modernity while retaining all the original components.
Attention: when using VM / VN / ACMA engine cases, the piston skirt must be shortened by approx. 3-4mm.
